Yes, They Really Kicked the Ball to Him.....Twice!

I
had just finished praising Denver for their win against Tennessee last
week. Then, this week they show that they have not come anywhere near
as far as I thought they had. Why? How can I say this in a nice way,
forget who cares?! They screwed up. They did what people in the league
are constantly debating about…they kicked the ball to Devin Hester.
Not once, but twice Hester returned the ball for touchdowns.
At
this point we can all tell that last season was no fluke. He is the
real deal. Here is my problem. I understand that Mike Shanahan wanted
to be
the
gallant coach who kicked the ball to Devin Hester in an attempt to keep
the bears from gaining a decent field position, but my goodness after
the first time he scores, why tempt fate by kicking the ball to him
again? I guess we will have to ask Shanahan.
Hester
has now tied his own record for most touchdown returns in a season.
Denver could have won that game. Those two touchdowns by Hester really
made a huge difference in Denver’s 34-37 loss. I tell you, some people
never learn.
